Meet Keith – Archaeologist, Historian & Proud Irishman
Born and raised in the west of Ireland, Keith brings a deep love of history to every tour he leads. After earning his Master’s degree in Archaeology from NUI Galway, he worked as a field archaeologist and began guiding tours in Galway and Dublin. But his long-standing interest in German history soon drew him east — and after a visit to Germany in 2008, he knew he had found somewhere special.
A year later, Keith made the move permanent, and started guiding visitors through some of the most fascinating and challenging chapters of European history — including over a decade based right here in Munich. Whether he’s uncovering the city’s medieval past, navigating its more recent 20th-century history, or simply pointing out a great place to grab a beer, Keith’s tours are packed with insight, humour, and heart.
