Meet Adam – Your Guide InMunich
Born by the ocean in Perth, Western Australia, Adam grew up with a love for the water and a passion for sailing. His dream of becoming a professional sailor took him around the world, competing in events like the World Match Racing Tour and the America’s Cup World Series. Along the way, he fell in love with Europe — and eventually made it his permanent home.
After two years in Budapest, Adam visited Munich for the first time in 2010 — and never looked back. He quickly embraced life in Bavaria, complete with his first lederhosen, a Bavarian partner, and a deep love for the city. With a knack for storytelling and a genuine passion for sharing Munich’s history, Adam began guiding tours — and has now been doing so full-time for over nine years.
From the heart of Munich to the hills of Neuschwanstein, and solemn visits to the Dachau Memorial Site (where he holds full memorial guide qualification), Adam brings history to life with warmth, humour, and respect. In 2014, he co-founded InMunich Tours to share the very best of the city with travellers from around the world.

Our tour guide Adam was extremely knowledgeable throughout our trip to the Dachau Memorial Site. From start to finish, we were clear on the plan of the day, the transport was excellent and Adam made sure to check we were always together and would answer any questions we had at any time (not just about the tour, but about the city etc too).
Everyone needs to learn this information. I left wanting to know more. Our guide, Adam, was very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to answer all questions. We had a small group of 8 which was a delight as well. I would recommend Adam as a guide.
